Caps and Trim
Caps and footers are usually trim finishes on the top and bottom of a fence. A cap helps to make a fence look complete while keeping rain out of the porous cuts of the wood. The footer is used to seal off the bottom of the fence, it helps to keep animals from seeing under the fence and manages the flow of rainwater from the yard.
